- One of the two (teenage) police force in Montevallo, Tsukasa was the nephew of the six-months deceased mayor. While this is hardly what pushed him onto his path of being part of the police - the death of his childhood friend Shinobu Kocho's sister is what set him down this path, hoping to find her killer and bring them to justice - it certainly solidified his reasoning for it. While he and his work partner Takaomi Shishimaru aren't taken entirely too seriously by every mafioso in town, they're taken seriously enough that they've been asked to investigate the recent murder of the former Xian Le heads by the newest one, their son Xie Lian. Between that, the mayor's death, and the day-to-day happenings of Montevallo, he and Takaomi both have their work cut out for them.

- Apparently born as the youngest son in the infamous Suou family, a family of not-so-nice magicians who specialize in toeing the legal lines with the dark arts. Given Tsukasa's young age and quietness, he's been shunned and bullied by peers and elders alike - though this doesn't mean he hasn't taken his fair share of revenge from time-to-time. Unlike the rest of his family, this bad boy actually enjoys magic closer to the elements more, building snowpeople and villages, or growing flowers and dancing with fire... until someone finds him and, panicking to keep his loner rep intact, he destroys whatever he's working with. He does have friends though, most notably Takaomi Shishimaru and Mika Kagehira, and is part of OSHA at the behest of the latter. Unfortunately, as an original, Tsukasa really has his work cut out for him.

- Formerly a spoiled cat belonging to the Suou family. They'd decided the age they'd kill him at was thirteen and attempted to do so as soon as he turned it, but he luckily escaped before they could; he became a bakeneko shortly there after, as tends to happen with cats as they age. In the four years he's been out of a home, he's tried many jobs and stayed in many places, primarily shrines and the forest when he gets antsy about being around humans (despite his shapeshifting abilities)... His most frequent visits are to Kumou Shrine and Puji Shrine, the former being run by demons and the latter with a very insistently kind human he's slowly beginning to trust. He's 3ft tall as a bakaneko and 5ft when shapeshifted.

retrospec: the before and after
- Born and raised in Recollé, Tsukasa Suzakura is [DATA EXPUNGED]. Also included in his family was his late grandmother, affectionately called "Baba" by Tsukasa. Unfortunately, she passed away in the August of 2018.
Prior to joining Retrospec in the December of 2017, an app that "awakens" the memories of those living in Recollé who have a sort of past life situation going on - it's a lot of soul stuff Tsukasa doesn't really like thinking too hard one - he was homeschooled and primarily interacted with the animals and people at the Churchhill Downs Stables and Riding School. He's always had a love of horses, stating they're very regal and noble and strong... He admires the qualities they represent, as weird of a sentiment as that is.
After a life-shifting event (literally) in June 2018, he additionally part-times as a miko at a shrine some relatives of his family have, in addition to his work as a stablehand and riding instructor at Churchhill Downs. He's the co-president of the Recollé Art Club alongside Izumi Miyamura, having enrolled into his junior year the same year he received Retrospec, and was in the middle of his first semester as a senior when he dropped off of Retrospec.

suou vs suzakura
- There are two wolves within Tsukasa. One is his desire to be seen as a mature, responsible young man who's absolutely capable of doing things that teenagers like himself shouldn't have to do, particularly on their own. The other is a desire to act out, to be childish and get spoiled and eat a menu's worth of sweets... He's only a teenager, after all. His friends seek to pull out that second side of him more, to get him to accept it - that he can act his age and still be the son his parents need him to be - and eventually, he does begin to feel more comfortable with the idea...
To the tune of quite literally throwing his money around during Knights' Requiem by buying everything he can to make his moment of being "king" the biggest, brightest, most different display he can. "You have resources," his seniors said. "You should use them."
So he did. He'd been frustrated with himself at the beginning of the year for not being able to be as free as he wanted, having harbored such sentiments since he was a child trying to fit in among far more judgmental adults. He's still a fairly serious young man at heart though - he means well and does things with good intentions, even if his methods might be the characteristic underhandedness of someone who's had to navigate the upper social circle with middling success.
However... There are two very important differences between Tsukasa Suou and Tsukasa Suzakura aside from their surnames: he wasn't born to a rich, affluent family, and he has an older brother who isn't recognized as a legitimate son due to leaving when Tsukasa was 12 to pursue his music dreams elsewhere. This means he doesn't have the pressures of being a perfect, mature young man that his canon counterpart does, nor does he have the confidence and pride that both his status as an heir and scion give him in canon. While he began to come into his own in Recollé, he's still a pretty soft-spoken individual, preferring to watch and think over his words instead of just giving his unwarranted opinion. While Tsukasa does still have high-standards and a need to do things on his own, it comes from a different reason: his parents are extremely strict, and he ends up picking up slack in order to make sure things are perfect. He won't even confess his feelings or ask someone out if he doesn't think he can manage it without stumbling --
He tends to hold back with his words in general, though this loosens up immensely with friends thanks to the influences in his life and the regaining of a substantial amount of his memories.

the suzakura family: parents, grandmother, and [DATA EXPUNGED]
- The relationship with his mother and father is respectful; he loves them, even if he has a few qualms now that he's around the age [DATA EXPUNGED], and he's had the chance to grow outside of the box he's been in since he was a child. This desire to have his own freedom and choices and not have to like, be worried about his parents being so overbearing on either of them is what gave him the idea to leave home and start rooming with Miai Garyuu in a fairly large apartment... though it was his very dear grandmother's passing that spurred it. Life at home had been bearable because he'd been able to speak with her about everything and she wouldn't have judged his choices at all, or if she did, she never spoke them aloud - and she was an amazing secret-keeper to boot.
She also loved [DATA EXPUNGED].
best friends
- While Tsukasa isn't popular in the way of "everyone wants to date him or be him," he does have a good number of people he can count on and assuredly call friends across all of his groups - but none are so important as Hinata Aoi, Mafuyu Kurosaki, and Anastasia Vasilieva.
Hinata was someone he met when the aforementioned boy took a part-time job at the same stables that Tsukasa worked at, and his sunny, friendly nature made them fast friends - whether Tsukasa wanted it to or not. Like the sun and the moon, their personalities compliment and support one another: where Hinata is outgoing and unreserved, Tsukasa is shier and more contemplative. They've shared some quiet moments together, mostly on Tsukasa's part - though he has no doubt that Hinata has things that bother him, too. His affection nickname for Hinata is "Hinatan".
Mafuyu, meanwhile, was Hinata's best friend - and essentially his childhood friend, to boot. Thus, by extension: also Tsukasa's best friend, captured perfectly with the very Mafuyu-esque and casual regarding of her best friends being whoever she's hanging out with at the time. While she's pretty rough and even more casual than Hinata, bordering on honest delinquentism at times, Tsukasa regards her with a lot of affection and cheer - she's someone who's really allowed him to loosen up and act way more his age. His very fond nickname for her is "Mafutan".
And finally, Anastasia - or Anya for short. Infatuation or first love material, she's a very bright, cheerful young woman who Tsukasa fell for at first sight and continued to harbor a massive crush on even after she fell off of Retrospec. The way her friendliness comes out is in a slightly different way than Hinata's - more like the kind twinkling of stars watching over someone, and Tsukasa is fully aware of this distance between them... Still, she's someone he adores very, very much. His affectionate nickname for her is "Antan," even if that's a little longer than her actual nickname.
yumenosaki idols
- Out of everyone who shares their memories with him - or at least of the same setting as him - only Mizuki Sena, Izumi in their other lives, was someone Tsukasa could say without a doubt was the person he was closest to. He went to Mizuki for just about everything regarding their memories, as they were members of the same unit - Knights - and regarding [DATA EXPUNGED]. There's likely no one else in the entire world - worlds - who knows his troubles and worries as much as Mizuki does. On a scale of one to ten for how much Tsukasa considers the boys in the idol gc to be his older brothers, Mizuki is a nine, and only because it feels sacrilegious to put him at a perfect ten alongside [DATA EXPUNGED].
Just like Suou, Tsukasa refers to him as "Sena-senpai".
Someone else fairly important to Tsukasa is Miai Garyuu, who he began rooming with shortly after Baba's passing. Things are about as good between them as they are [DATA EXPUNGED], but they make it work. In their other lives, Miai was Eichi Tenshouin, the leader of the unit fine, the student council president, and Suou's "oniisama".
bakama
- Bakama - a play off of "baka" and "nakama" - is the unofficial-official name of the Recollé High Art Club. Tsukasa joined it when he first enrolled in his junior year at the encouragement of Chiyo Matsuoka, affectionately nicknamed "Chitan". The other members of it are Daisuke Niwa (Daipai) and Izumi Miyamura (Izutan), with Xiaolang Li joining the next year when Tsukasa and Izumi became co-presidents of the club at the graduation of their senpai.
The art club is... indescribably important to Tsukasa, as a place where he could be himself and where he could flourish with people his own age; it was somewhere where he didn't have to worry about messy personal relationships or intersecting memories or anything like that. Their group chat was also a wonderful mistake he made, but he'd make it a hundred times over if given the chance.

style and substance
- Red hair, violet eyes - thanks to Tsukasa Suou of Yumenosaki Academy. Prior to that, he was brown-haired and blue-eyed... though he had his blue eyes for a long, long while. A young man, he's still growing in height, so watch out world!! His general style errs towards relatively normal things, with a few embarrassing pieces on the side; they're usually cute animal shirts. He's a very "comfy clothes" kind of person, though he has an equal amount of more "preppy" type of clothing - polo shirts and things like that.
To counteract such a good boy look, however, he also has one ear pierced (his right); this usually has a cuff piercing in it, but he has a glittery earring that matches Hinata's, whom he got his ear pierced with.
Additionally, for Fractura, his coat of arms emblem is tattooed on the back of his right hand; it's in a tassel-style crest, and the symbols on it are a fleur-de-lis, a colored sun, a bundle of arrows, and a pair of swords. For the symbol at the top, there's a horse. Its coloring is reminiscent of watercolors.
